Service reset for the moment

I have coupled and connected the ELM 327 V2.1 to the bike for diagnostics and it works with the phone app torque pro, so I know the bluetooth ELM is working.
I cannot connect using the melcodiag 1.04.0. I have followed the instructions regarding the comms port, I have played with the baud rates for example 9600 & 38400. I have check my windows device manager to see which ports are available but the software is not sending the signal to connect. At the bottom it say 'setting the elm' . I have left it for a few hours and nothing is connecting.
Can you please give some direction.

EML 327 ver. 2.1 it's currently not compatible with Melcodiag. You need ELM 327 version 1.4 or 1.5.
Verified personally because I have both versions of ELM 327.

I confirm chinese ELM327 V1.5 does not work too with Melcodiag, this is what is written in my post http://jpdiag.xooit.eu/t4672-Choisir-le-bon-ELM327-USB-pour-Melcodiag.htm

JP, do you have an idea why it does not work on chinese model ? This is strange because all software for cars works with chinese ELM327...You use with MELCODIAG some commands which are not used for car OBDII diagnostic ?
