I reset my TPS sensor a couple of time now and it is reset to a value of 3.6. There seems to be a drift in the sensor because it is off every time by approx. 0.4

Now I changed the ECU file to a ducati performance (DP) version.
When resetting the TPS sensor  is set to 4.5.

3 questions:
What is the standard and DP TPS value   for a 2004 multistrada 1000 (lineair sensor)?

Is it normal that there is a drift in the TPS within a few hunderd km?

Is the ECU file determining the TPS value at closed throttles and does the ECU tell JPDiag what the reset value is?

Thanks!

i think the drift depends on the battery voltage
if you make a reset à 11v and after a run, you have 13V at the battery
thet could explain the difference.
so it's better to do it battery full loaded and engine off
the defualt value is stored into the ecu , so it's normal you have different values on different mappings

Thanks!

That is clear.

Still I hope anyone can comment on the TPS values 3.6 standard and 4.5 DP
Because I hear lower values on some bikes with the same ECU and TPS sensor (more in the vicinity of 3-3.2)

My basic thing is the idle at start/cold engine.
This is to low (1000 rpm) and prone to stalling.
As soon as the engine is warm there is a stable 1200 rpm.

This could be the stepper motor.
I was hoping I could increase idle through ECU and so detected this TPS value difference

Thanks!
